Fathers Day Framed Page

I have had great fun making these framed pages, and this one I particularly enjoyed.

I used these jigsaw pieces, covered them in black ink and then embossed them to give them the glittery shine, I was really pleased with the effect that it made and it makes the Number One stand out.

It is perfect to store your favourite picture on.

Black and White Page

Yesterday I managed to spend the whole day in the craft room. Making some new products for Scrapbookerry.

Here is a sneaky peak at something that I have started to make, it is not yet finished but thought I would let you have a little look first.

I loved making this page and love the black and white of the page, including the fabric flowers on the page.

Toilet Roll Album

I have been having a little play this past week with some new albums and different colours. I have seen some toilet roll albums around the internet on and off for years. But have never really had an opportunity to make one as I have a son who steals toilet rolls to paint as soon as he sees them. So there are never any free in our house.

This week I managed to hide a few and get making the albums.

Father’s Day Pages

Just a quick blog today.

I have been thinking of some new items to add to the stuff I make for quite a while and yesterday I started making some of the new products.

Here is just a small snippet of what one thing looks like, not yet completely finished but very nearly there.

Craft, Craft, Craft

Today I am having a long overdue day sat in the craft room crafty. I haven’t been in here for a long time and am really looking forward to it I have written a list of things that I want to make, and have a plan of action for the whole day.

I have lots of things I want to do this week and blogged about them all at the beginning of the week, coming back to work has meant that lots of things are up in the air. So I am chasing loose ends and starting new things, will finishing off old things. But that means not a lot of crafting. Today that is going to be different.

I have new products I want to make, new ideas, and new plans. Today is Action day.  Continue reading

Even Beyonce’s Doing It

So I never imagined that at the beginning of the year I would be having a near on five month break from working. But with injury, sickness, the loss of our baby and Mr L being in hospital that is how it has ended up. It has been a hideous start to the year, but I am now slowly getting back into working on Scrapbookerry and I am excited about it.

I have been doing a lot of planning and have a lot of new ideas, so there will be lots of tweaking and questions to be answered by you the readers, customers and fans of Scrapbookerry.

This week I am tweaking, and updating the website, the Facebook page, and my shops. I am going to be updating all the products on my WOW Thank You store, re opening my MISI store and sorting out a few other social media pages, Google plus and Linked In for instance. By the end of the week, you will be able to find Scrapbookerry every where. So please keep your eyes peeled for all the updates that are happening. If you have any suggestions that you think would help Scrapbookerry or you would like to see us do then please do leave them in the comments below.

Just to prove how good scrapbooking is, it is reported that even Beyonce is making a scrapbook for her daughter Blue Ivy!
