As I have already said this Father’s Day was all handmade this year, but I still wanted to give Mr L something completely unique and different to him from Baba.
I decided to make a photo really personal by adding some words to the picture that were all personal and important to him and then putting it into a scrapbook page and framing it for him. Continue reading
Yesterday I managed to spend the whole day in the craft room. Making some new products for Scrapbookerry.
Here is a sneaky peak at something that I have started to make, it is not yet finished but thought I would let you have a little look first.
I loved making this page and love the black and white of the page, including the fabric flowers on the page.
So it is a day late, but I was so tired yesterday and today have come out in a stinking cold, and have severe ear ache, but it is here at last. I bring you Thursday Treats with MyMemories Suite.
So last week I posted this Freebie up for Thursday Treats, and can not wait to see what you have all done with this quick page.
I love the colours from this quick page, and had great fun making my page. The thing I like the most is that it is so easy to do, a page literally only takes minutes which I love.
I am a member of the Crafty Boots design team, and for our first challenge the theme was Anything Goes now you would think this would be easy and it was when I started, but I have to be honest, I was a little stuck at first. As I just couldn’t decide where to start!
In the end I settled for a very old style scrapbook page of my Grandparents wedding day. I am really into Family History and have been researching my tree for a while, so it seemed right to start a few pages of the older pictures I have of family members.
I love this page it is so simple and so easy to make.
I used Papa paper from Fancy Papers by Jackie Eckles and because the paper had such fantastic designs on both sides. I used the block coloured side for the background and cut the side with the writing to decorate the page.
So simple and so effective that I didn’t need to add any journalling, the photo is a 8 x 10 picture and the page didn’t really need anything else. Continue reading
So I have been working really hard at the moment, with behind the scene stuff and creating new things for you all on the site.
But I have also been so busy scrapbooking, my actual own pages. This is a rarity at the moment. I haven’t actually done any of my pages for ages and I forget how much I loved doing my own pages.
This one I particular love, I wrote a little tale about Baba on the blog the other day and have seen people using their blog posts for the journaling on their pages and thought that this was a fantastic idea.
I started the blog to write about Baba and his little tales, milestones and funny moments, so to back these stories up with pictures is fantastic! Continue reading
