Crafty Boots Challenge – Babies

I have been a slack member of Crafty Boots Design Team, but as this challenge is my challenge I pulled up my socks and finally took part again.

This is a personal challenge for me as it is also linked to Rhianna Lily, you can read more about our story and how the challenge is linked to her over at the challenge. Continue reading

Creative Connections Monthly Craft Challenge

Last month Creative Connections launched a new item on their site, the Monthly Craft Challenge. After all they are a craft community so it made complete sense to have a craft challenge running and I am very lucky to be one of the design team.

The first month was launched in February and was a roaring success. The rules of the challenge are very simple, the challenge is launched on the first of the month in the evening, and you have until midnight on the last day of the month to post your challenge entries. You can combine your challenge entry with another challenge, and you can also make something that you will later sell. You can even post two projects to the challenge, the only hard and fast rule is that the project you make needs to be a new project, and no back linking to previous projects and you have to be a member of Creative Connections to participate.  Continue reading

Crafty Boots Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to Scrapbookerry I hope that you like the blog, and pop on over another time! Here goes for the Blog Hop…

The theme at Crafty Boots Challenges this fortnight is ‘Anything Goes’.  You can join in the challenge as normal but there are 12 extra chances for you to win a prize by joining the first ever Crafty Boots blog hop!

If you are joining in the hop you should have got here from Gabrielle’s blog.  If you haven’t blog hopped before it is really simple, just start at the Crafty Boots Challenge blog and hop through the design team blogs in the order set out on that page.  Each of the design team members has a word or two for you to collect which will reveal a message at the end.  Once you have collected that message email it to bloghop@craftyboots.co.uk to be entered into the draw to win the prize of three digis of your choice from Hope Jacare Doodles.  You must also become a follower of all the design team’s blogs (and Claire’s) to be eligible to win the prizes.

Don’t forget that myself and each of the design team members has a prize of candy up for grabs, this will include a sample pack of the fantastic new Crafty Boots Deluxe card along with a few other goodies.  Be sure to leave a comment on each of our blogs and follow us to be in with a chance of winning our candy!

My word for the secret message is:

COMING

Your next stop is Stephanie-Emma’s blog.

The deadline for both the Anything Goes challenge, and the blog hop (and candy) is Sunday 11th December at 12 Noon (UK time).

Young At Heart Challenge

So once again it is Challenge Time over at the Crafty Boots Challenges blog, this fortnight the challenge is Young at Heart, anything that reminds you of your youth, children or your own childhood.

This was something I struggled with I have to be honest, I firstly thought of doing something of Baba but really wanted to do something different to that. I eventually came up with the idea of remembering when you were young and free and decided to do this tag.

Zoo or Animal Challenge

This is the third Challenge for Crafty Boots and the exciting thing is that this challenge is happening right now, so after you have a read of this you can actually pop on over and participate in the challenge yourself.

The theme this time was Zoo or Animals, I decided to do a Scrapbook Page of a recent trip to the Zoo that we did as a family.

Anything Goes Challenge

I am a member of the Crafty Boots design team, and for our first challenge the theme was Anything Goes now you would think this would be easy and it was when I started, but I have to be honest, I was a little stuck at first. As I just couldn’t decide where to start!

In the end I settled for a very old style scrapbook page of my Grandparents wedding day. I am really into Family History and have been researching my tree for a while, so it seemed right to start a few pages of the older pictures I have of family members.
