My Memories Review and Giveaway!

A couple of weeks ago I was given the My Memories Suite Digital Scrapbooking Software to review!

I have to admit I am really fussy with Digital Scrapbooking software, as I am a traditional scrapbooker at heart, so I am extra critical when it comes to digital software.

However with the My Memories Suite I was blown away as soon as I first played with it. So much so than rather just settling for the free templates, I went and brought a dinosaur kit from the site within the first week of playing with the scrapbook software.

This software is so easy to use. It really caters for the complete novice scrapbooker and the scrapbooker’s that have been doing it for years and years. It is very easy to navigate around and the one thing that I absolutely love is the fast fill option of filling in your pictures into the scrapbook album. This is fantastic and means your album is completed within seconds!

But you can also spend as little or as much time on the album as you want or are able to do. There are lots of pre designed templates, and it is literally just a case of putting the pictures into the album. If you want more than that out of your digital software then My Memories is also the perfect scrapbook software for you. You can create albums from scratch, decorating the pages as you go, using the embellishments, alphabets and paper backgrounds that are available.

There is a vast amount of free software that is available to be used with the software, and there is a massive selection on-line as well. However most of these do need to be paid for, but they are not expensive, I brought a full dinosaur Kit for less than $6.00 when I first started.

This software is fast, super easy and great fun to use! In my opinion I think it is a great digital software package for all creative people, I say for all creative people rather than just scrapbookers as you don’t just have to be a scrapbooker to use this package. It is great for card making, invites, other paper crafts and videos as well.

In the past two weeks I have made some invites,

I have made thank you cards

But that is not all, this afternoon I sat down for a couple of hours and managed to complete the whole of my little boys 3rd Birthday Album. It was that simple to make!

I would highly recommend this software and personally think that it is fantastic to work with and can not wait to create more and more projects with it!

I love travel – and I really should start doing something with my holiday snaps rather than just shoving them onto the computer and uploading some to facebook and flickr – here’s a rather awesome template kit for a TRAVEL scrapbook that I love.

Will retweet the comp too hun!

  2. I love the Cold Hands Warm Hearts kit. I would love to be able to get this software. I am also a traditional scrapper and am really reluctant to go over to digital scrappin. I am so afraid the printed out product isn’t going to be the same and that it isn’t going to look as nice….but the only way to see is to try it. I have tried other digital scrapbooking software and they were so hard to understand and very cumbersome which has put a bad image of digi scrappin for me, but hopefully I will get the chance to try this one out and change my views.
